Purpose
As the low-cost energy efficiency approaches have been running out, the importance of material use and its embedded emissions become more 
crucial to achieve net-zero carbon targets and Sustainable Development Goals. This project focuses on these increasingly important material use 
and efficiency issues in the context of mitigating climate change. The main purpose of the project is to assess material use, material efficiency 
and its determinants, rebound effect, and its relationship with energy efficiency from the sustainability perspective.
